Walkers Welcome 1

We are Visit Wales 3 Star approved and approved for walkers and cyclists. Drying facilities are available. We can access the Offa's Dyke Path and explain how you can get off the Path and to us, travelling North South or South to North. Free transport is available from these points if arranged in advance.

Some walkers are on a mission. Normally full breakfasts, and always continental breakfasts, are available to very early risers. Similarly, although we do not advertise evening meals, we can feed late arrivals, in extremis, although breakfasts are our speciality. Limited supper menu! We can, however, transport you to the nearest pub!

Baggage

We are able to forward luggage to your next port of call. The charge is 80p per mile.

We are Walkers too

Since living in Wales (5 years) we have discovered the delights of walking Offa's Dyke Path. Thwarted by Foot & Mouth in 2001, we hope to complete the 40 or so miles we have not done very soon. Consult us if you are unsure of distances or terrain - We can usually help.

Transport Services

In conjunction with a local taxi firm (Montgomery Taxi Company,07977-589285), we operate a Walkers' Transport Service between Knighton and Llangollen (60 miles of Offa's Dyke Path). It is costly and time consuming to take 2 cars and move backwards and forwards. For only £1.20 per mile (up to 4 persons) and £1.40 per mile (5 or 6 persons) we will arrange transport for you to/from any point on the Path (where it crosses a road!) between Knighton and Llangollen.
